Continúo  pintando temas marinos.
Si se busca en Google por paisajes marinos en arte, se encuentran unos 1.300.000 resultados.
La búsqueda de paisajes proporciona 2.500.000, los retratos 89.200.000, y los paisajes urbanos 3.480.000.
¿ Por qué hay muchos más paisajes que de los otros?. Puede ser porque es más fácil de pintar que cualquier otra pintura o quizás porque se vende más.
Para mi los retratos es la pintura más dificil.
Por eso hago tan pocos.

Searching landscapes will give 250.000.000, portraits 89.200.000, and cityscapes 3.480.000.
Why are there a lot more of paintings about landscapes than on the other ones?. It might be, because it's easier to paint than any other painting or perhaps it sells more.
I believe that portraits is the most difficult painting.
It's why I do so few.

Playa de las Catedrales /Beach of the Cathedrals

La playa de las catedrales es una de las playas más espectaculares de España. Los mejores momentos para visitarla son con la marea baja y la marea alta.
Pero si no puede visitarla en esos momentos, hagalo cuando pueda y déjese de tonterias.

The "Playa de las Catedrales"(Beach of the Cathedrals) is one of the most spectacular beaches of Spain. The best moments to visit it is at low tide and high tide.
But if you cannot wait for any one of this situations, visit it when you can, and let yourself of nonsense.

A veces, los pescadores tienen que luchar contra la tormenta para obtener los productos del mar.
Muchos artistas han reflejado a los pescadores que luchan y las terribles consecuencias de estas batallas. Entre otros nuestro pintor Joaquín Sorolla y su cuadro: "Y aún dicen que el pescado es caro"  que puede verse en el Museo del Prado.

Sometimes the fishermen have to fight against the storm to get the sea products.
Many artist have reflected fishermen fighting and the terrible consequences of these battles. Between other our painter Joaquin Sorolla and his picture: "Y aún dicen que el pescado es caro"(And yet they say that fish is expensive) that you can view it at Museo del Prado.

Bocetos/ Sketches

He estado pintando varios bocetos sobre varios temas con la intención de hacer algún cuadro, supongo que nunca lo haré, sin embargo me siento muy bien pensando que voy a sercapaz de hacerlo.
Seguiré haciendo bocetos.

I did these sketches about different themes. I've intention using them to paint some painting, but I suppose I'll never do that, nevertheless  I feel much better when I think that I'll be able of it.
I'm going to keep doing sketches.

mariscadora / gatherer of clams

Esta mariscadora está cogiendo almejas aprovechandose que están dormidas para llevarse un buen montón. Cuando las pobres almejas se despiertan descubren que están con ajo, perejil, vino y aceite de freir en una sarten. ¡ Qué putada!, excepto para mis comrnsales, por supuesto.

This gatherer of clams is taking advantage they are sleeping to take away one lot of them. When the clams awake, the poor find out that they are with garlic, parsley, wine and oil frying in a pan. It's a real bugger!, except for my fellow dinners, of course.
