Mi inspiración es el frio que todo el mundo está disfrutando, excepto, Argentina, Brasil, etc..

My inspiration is the cold weather that all world is enjoing, except Argentina, Brasil and so on..

Experimento con flores/ Experimenting with flowers

He pintado esta acuarela utilizando una hoja de papel para grabado, para tratar de probar algo diferente. Esta hoja es muy absorbente. Las utilicé en mis clases de grabado. Tengo algunas y voy a experimentar con la acuarela.
La hice con mucha agua y con pinceles unas veces con pintura espesa y otras clara. Solamente pretendía probar con las características absorbentes del papel. Si no se nota, son flores o quieren serlo.

I painted this watercolor using a sheet for etching,  trying experimenting something different. This sheet of paper is very absorbent. They were used in my classes of etching. I have several sheets and I'll experiment  with watercolor.
It was made with a lot of water and with brushes with thick paint and clear sometimes. I only pretended experiment with  the absorbent characteristics of sheet. If isn't perceived, they are flowers, or they want to be

Paisaje/Landscape

Esta acuarela es un ejemplo de mala composición. La casa no debería estar situada en el centro del cuadro. El cambio ahora de la composición actual es bastante molesto, así que para otra vez seré más cuidadoso.
Verdaderamente, si eres capaz de pintar como Leonardo da Vinci puedes poner una forma en el medio del cuadro como hizo en L'ultima cena, pero me temo que ni tú ni yo pintamos tan bien.

This watercolor is a bad composition example. The house shouldn't  be in the middle of the picture. Changing the actual composition now is quite annoying, so that at other time I'll be more careful.
Certainly, if you are able to paint as Leonardo da Vinci you can put a shape in the middle of the picture, as he did in L'ultima cena, but I'm afraid neither you nor I are so good painters

Paisaje con castillo /Landscape with castle

Elegí en este paisaje algunos colores que me gustaban. Si se comparan con los de la acuarela anterior no son tan brillantes. Cuando pinto, la elección de los colores se basa en mis preferencias mas que en la realidad, sin embargo no se encuentran muchas diferencias.

I chose in this landscape some colors I like. If they are compared with I used in my last watercolor, they aren't as bright. When I paint, choosing colors is based in my preferences more than for reality, however, not so many differences can be found.

Rojo y verde /Red and green

Después de pintar en óleo un bodegón para el desafio de Daily Paintworks, añadí este en acuarelas.

After painting a still-life oil for the  DPW Painting Challenge  I added this one on watercolor.

Flores/Flowers

Pinté las flores poniendo primero el papel húmedo en algunas zonas y en otras dejándolo seco. Luego hice las flores quedando los bordes suaves y rígidos. Cuando la pintura quedo completamente seca, pinte una veladura con un color mas oscuro en el lado derecho. Finalmente, después de secar toda la acuarela froté ligeramente con una esponja el lado derecho de la pintura. Esto hizo que esa parte quedase difusa, tal como puede verse. Por último di algunos toques en la pintura y obtuve esto. A veces, me gusta hacer experimentos.

I painted this flowers, putting first, on some areas the paper wet and others dry. Then, I made the flowers, leaving edges soft and hard. When all painting was completly dry, I again painted on the right hand side, other darker glaze. Finally, after drying all painting, I made a lightly scrub  on right hand side of the painting, with a sponge. This made ​​this part remained softened, as can be seen. Lastly, I put some last touches on the painting and I got this. Sometimes, I like make experiments.

Maceta con flores / Flowerpot

Sigo experimentando con los bordes. En el lado izquierdo se pueden ver algunos difusos y también en la parte superior. Esta es la magia de la acuarela, el pintar con trazos amplios, dejando que el espectador imagine el resto.
Cualquier pintura , es opinión generalizada, tiene que tener variedad de bordes.

I keep on experiencing with the edges. On the left you can see some ones loose and also on the top. This is the magic of watercolor, painting with broad strokes, leaving to the viewer imagine the rest.
Any painting, as is general opinion,  has to have variety of edges.
