Bodegón/still life

Espero que mis próximas acuarelas no tengan tanto detalle, No me gusta pintar tan cuidadosamente, pero a veces lo hago y el resultado no es bueno.
El mejor modo para pintar de forma suelta es ponerse un limite de tiempo y utilizando pinceles tan grandes como se pueda, pero se necesita practicar para conseguirlo.

I expect my next watercolors not have so much detail. I don't like to paint so tightly, but sometimes I do it and the result is not convincing.
The best way to get painting  is establish a limit of time using brushes as big as you can, but you need to practice to get used to do it.

Rápido/Rapid

Los colores en el original estaban mejor que esta imagen. Hice varias pruebas , pero no conseguí mejorarlo. Los árboles en el fondo tienes los valores más altos que en la realidad.
Comencé con solo tres colores:sombra natural, azul ultramar y siena tostada, después añadí rojo pirrol. El resultado de todos estos colores ha sido un poco asqueroso.
La próxima vez será mejor.

Colors in the original are better than in is this picture. I did several tests, but it didn't improved. The trees on the background have tonal values more highs than in the reality.
I began with only three colors: raw umber, ultramar blue and burnt sienna and then I added pyrrole red. The result of all colors have been a bit disgusting.
Next time will be better.

Rojo y verde, bodegón/Red and green still-life

Este bodegón lo pinté usando el papel Fabriano de grano fino y lo hice con más cuidado que otras veces. Afortunadamente solo compré dos hojas, porque es muy dificil de emplear y en mi opinión se debería usar por aquellos artistas que les encanta pintar cuidadosamente. Yo prefiero hacerlo de forma suelta.

I painted this still-life  using  hot pressed paper Fabriano, and more carefully than other times
Fortunately, I only bought two sheets, because is very difficult to employ and in my opinion you should use it just for paintings done tightly. It's a good paper for artist who loves to do realistic watercolors. I prefer to paint loosely

Paisaje/Landscape

Hice el fondo más complicado para mostar las montañas con diferentes distancias.
De nuevo he tratado de diferenciar los tres planos. Pero ya me estoy cansando de tanto plano.
¡Qué demonios!

Showing the mountains with different distances, I've done the background more complicated.
Again, I tried to get the three planes differentiated. But, I already getting tired so much plane.

Paisaje con cabañas/ Landscape with two log cabins

En este paisaje he tratado  de pintar los tres planos, fondo, medio y primer plano. El primer plano es el más dificil, si se pintan demasiadas cosas el centro de interés se se distrae. Yo opté por poner alguna sombra y hierba.
Voy a seguir haciendo paisajes que tengan lejanías con diferentes ambientes porque no es fácil conseguir la sensación de profundidad.

I've treated in this landscape to paint the three landscape planes, background, middleground and foreground. The foreground is the most difficult if you paint too many things  the interest point is distracted. I choosed some shadows and grass.
I'll keep painting landscapes with remoteness in different atmospheres because is not easy to obtain the sense of deep.

Paisaje desde el tren/ Landscape from the train

Hice esta acuarela a partir de una foto que tomé desde el tren cunado iba a Málaga la semana pasada.
Es una acuarela muy sencilla pero me gusta su composición.

I did this watercolor by a photo I took in the train when I went to Malaga last week.
It's a watercolor very simple , but I like its composition.

Marina/ Seascape

Mientras cojo fuerzas para pintar un retrato. Hice este paisaje que es más facil que una cara.

While I force myself into doing a portrait, I painted this landscape that is easier than a face.

Pelegrina y su castillo/ Pelegrina and its castle

Cuando el año pasado asistí al taller de Zorrilla, todos los participantes fuimos a Pelegrina para tratar de pintarlo, pero el tiempo era tan caluroso que sólo comimos, la pura verdad un poco caro, pero nos lo pasamos muy bien, riendo y hablando de todo, lo cual es la mejor manera de pasar el tiempo en los talleres, bueno, y también pintando, aunque no siempre muy bien, pero para eso están los talleres.
Como me quedé con ganas de pintarlo, he hecho este paisaje de Pelegrina, recordando los buenos amigos del taller.

When last year I attended  the Zorrilla's workshop,  all participants went to Pelegrina to try paint it, but the weather  was so hot that we only ate, the plain truth a bit expensive but we had a good time, laughing and talking about everything, which is the best way to spend the time at the workshops, well, and also painting even though always not too well, but for that there are the workshops.
As I remained with desire to paint it, I've done this landscape of Pelegrina, remembering to the good friends of workshop.

Segadores/ Reapers

Mientras que planeo hacer la siguiente acuarela sobre un paisaje urbano, he pintado esta sencilla escena que representa a unos segadores aventando el trigo o algo parecido.

While I plan to do my next watercolor about a cityscape, I painted this simple scene representing some  reapers that are winnowing wheat, or something like that

Mercadillo/Flea market

Esta acuarela la pinté dos veces, no me gusto la primera porque la perspectiva no era correcta. Es un mercadillo de donde vivo y se pueden comprar frutas a buen precio, por esa razón hay mucha gente comprando.
Se puede considerar como si fuera un ejercicio de pintar gente, un paso previo para hacer paisajes urbanos. También se necesitan coches y edificios.

Esta es la primera versión. La he puesto tal como me ha indicado Jaime, para que se puedan comparar. No se cual es mejor o peor.

This is the first version. I put it as Jaime has mentioned, so you can compare. I don't know which is the best or worst.

I painted this watercolor twice, I didn't like the first, for its incorrect perspective. It's a flea market of where I live and you can buy fruits at good price, for that reason there are a lot of people buying.
It can be considered as is an exercise of painting people, one step previous for doing cityscapes. Also are necessary cars and buildings.

Nieve en Madrid/ Snowing in Madrid

En Madrid no suele nevar pero hace algunos días lo hizo. Como yo quería pintar un paisaje urbano elegí este tema.
Los copos de nieve los hice salpicando liquido de enmascarar con un cepillo de dientes. Esta es la forma en la que casi todos los acuarelistas lo hacen.

In Madrid doesn't snow usually, but some days ago it did. As I wanted to paint a cityscape, I chose this theme.
I did the snow spattering masking fluid on all surface with a toothbrush. It's the way in which almost all watercolorists do.
