Paisaje nevado/ snowy landscape

Es un boceto de una acuarela que pienso hacer de media hoja. Mi interés principal fue  la composición y conseguir colores armónicos.
Aunque no es fácil de ver, puse un poco del color rojo en las sombras de la nieve que se encuentran en el árbol.

It's a sketch for one watercolor that I'll do of half sheet. My principal interest was about composition and getting harmonic colors.
Although it isn't easy to see, I put some of red color on the snow shadows which are in the tree.

Pescadores / Fishers

Mientrás sigo estudiando los acuarelistas hice estos bocetos para más adelante hacerlos, tal vez, más grandes.

While I keep studying watercolor painters, I did these sketches of fishers using photos in black and white.
I plan to use them later to do some larger paintings. Or, that's what I think.

Un recuero de vacaciones /A memory on vacations

He pintado estas figuras para ver la diferencia entre la pintura realizada cuidadosamente y la hecha suelta. En otra ocasión voy a tratar de hacerlo más suelto.
Algunos pintores como Carol Marine en óleo o Richard Stephens en acuarelas, proponen hacer una pintura en un tiempo, dependiendo del tamaño, por ejemplo, en unas dos horas para una acuarela de 46x57cm. Después se debe pintar en una hora. Se sugiere que al hacerlo así se puede obtener una pintura mucho más fresca, sin sobrecargarla y definitivamente más suelta. Se basa en que se ha visto anticipadamente cuales eran las dificultades y la segunda vez se es capaz de pintar con confianza y naturalidad.
Cuando hice esto mi primera acuarela no era muy buena, pero la segunda era peor. !Qué cosas¡

I painted this figures to watch the difference between painting tightly and  loosely. This was done carefully. Another time I'll try to do it more  loosely.
Some painters, like Carol Marine in oils or Richard Stephens in watercolors, propose creating  a painting in one period of time, depending on size, for example, in about two hours for a watercolor 46x57 cm. Then, you have to paint it again in one hour. It's suggested that doing so you can obtain a painting much more fresh not  overworked, and definitely looser. It's based on you had saw in advance  which were difficulties and the second time you are able to paint with confidence and naturally.
When I did this my first watercolor wasn't too good, but the second one was worst. What a things!

Paisaje/ Landscape

 Pinté esta acuarela húmedo sobre húmedo y utilizando tres colores: azul ultramar, siena tostada y siena natural, que substituyen a los tres primarios, azul, rojo y amarillo.

This watercolor was painted wet into wet and using three colors: ultramarine blue, burnt sienna and raw sienna. substituting the three primary colors, blue, red and yellow.

Pasiaje de La Rioja/ La Rioja's landscape

Esta acuarela representa un paisaje de La Rioja. Hace tiempo fui con mis compañeros de la Facultad a visitarla. Tomé muchas fotos y este es el resultado de una de ellas. Las figuras de la izquierda son algunos de mis colegas.

This watercolor is a landscape of La Rioja. Time ago I went with my University's Sciencies fellows to visit La Rioja, I took many photos and this is the result of one of them. The figures on the left are some my colleagues.

Barco encallado/ Shipwreck

Las dos figuras sirven, otra vez, para comparar tamaños. He pintado húmedo sobre húmedo en algunos sitios para obtener bordes suaves en las formas que pasan a segundo plano, luego en otras partes pinte en seco para situar las formas en primer lugar.

Again, the two figures are used to compare sizes. I painted wet-into- wet in some places so I created soft edges in shapes wich are receding into background, then at other places I painted in with dry colors to place some shapes in foreground.

La playa/ The beach

Las figuras que están en la playa solo sirven para mostrar el tamaño de las rocas. Mis paisajes no tienen gente por la sencilla razón que no se como pintarla.

The figures who are in the beach they only are to show the size of rocks. My scapes are without people due to one simple reason, I don't know how to paint them.
