He utilizado azul cerúleo con azul cobalto para pintar el cielo, y ultramarino y cobalto para el mar.
Los barcos los pinté con azul ultramar, pero creo que debería mezclarse con siena tostada para neutralizarlo un poco.

I've used cerulean blue mixed with cobalt blue for painting the sky, and ultramarine blue and cobalt for the sea.
The ships were painted using ultramarine and, but I think it should be mixed with burnt sienna to get neutralize a bit. I must remember it for next time.

He tratado de pintar una acuarela atmosférica que representa una playa en la marea baja y dos personas solitarias caminando.
El cielo se pintó con azul ftalo, siena natural y carmin, consiguiendo así un gris. Hice la costa húmedo sobre húmedo con los mismos colores variando la proporción de colores y añadiendo verde en algunas zonas.

I've tried to paint an atmospheric watercolor that represents a beach at low tide and two lonely people walking around.
The sky was painted with blue phthalo, raw sienna and crimson, getting a grey. I did wet into wet the coastline with the same colors varying the proportion of colors and adding sap green on some areas.

Feliz Navidad/ Happy Christmas

Les deseo una Feliz Navidad y un maravilloso año nuevo. Gracias a todos los que han visitado mi blog y también a los que me ha enviado algún comentario.

El agua del paisaje probablemente debería ser más oscura.
Lo dejo para el próximo año.

The landscape's water probably should be more dark.
I leave it for the next year.

Paisaje urbano de Madrid/ cityscape Madrid

Para hacer los reflejos primero hice un lavado claro de azul ultramar y rojo winsor, después cuando ya estaba completamente seco pinté sobre húmedo los reflejos con pintura más oscura usando colores similares a los del objeto reflejado. Cuando ya estaba casi seco puse algunas pinceladas con agua para pintar los reflejos del cielo sobre el suelo, de esta forma conseguí claros sobre lo ya pintado.

Los colores que más use fueron; azul ultramar, rojo winsor, siena natural y gris Payne.

To paint reflections I did a wash clear of blue ultramarine and red winsor, then, after it was completely dry, I painted on wet the reflections using a darker wash with similar colors to subjects reflected. When it was almost dry I put some brushstrokes with water to paint the reflections of the sky on the ground , this way I'll get clears on what previously had painted.

The most used colors were: blue ultramarino, red winsor, raw sienna and grey Payne.

He pintado este paisaje de la costa de Galicia tratando de conseguir una luz brillante. Para hacerlo he usado valores tonales claros y medios en la mayor parte de la pintura. Las sombras no son demasiado oscuras para conseguir el efecto de un luminoso día soleado.
Mis colores fueron Rojo Winsor, Azul Cobalto, Azul Cerúleo y Siena Natural.
Los verdes los hice con Azul Cobalto y Siena Natural.

I've painted this watercolor of Galicia coast, trying to get one bright light. To do that I've used light values and mid tone in most of painting. The shadows are not too dark, to obtain a bright sunny day effect.
My colors were red winsor, cobalt blue, raw sienna and cerulean blue.
Cobalt blue with raw sienna to get green.

He hecho esta acuarela a partir de una foto del Blog de mi amiga Ana Alberuche.
Representa unos humedales que se pueden ver en su blog
He usado tres colores: Naranja, Azul cerúleo y Laca garanza. La pintura no se parece a la foto original, pero aveces es necesario cambiar lo que se ve en la naturaleza. Puse algunos árboles para equilibrar las casas que están en el lado derecho y así conseguir un mejor diseño. También he modificado los colores haciéndolos más cálidos.

I did this watercolor from a photo of  my friend Ana Alberuche Blog.
It represents a wetland that you can see it in her Blog.
I've used three colors: Orange, Cerulean blue and Rose madder genuine. It doesn't look like the original  photo of wetlands, but sometimes is necessary to change what you see at the nature. I've put some trees to balance the right hand  houses, so I could get a better design. I also modified the original colors using some more warm ones.
