Flores/Flowers

Creo que es casi imposible saber que clase de flores son, pero no importa. Me gustaban sus colores y tenía ganas de pintarlas

I think it's almost impossible to know which sort of flowers are but it doesn't matter. I liked its colors and I really wanted to paint them.

Española en Semana Santa/Spanish woman at Easter

Ya es primavera, es Semana Santa y ya está lloviendo como siempre.
Pero he pintado esta española sin paraguas, porque precisamente en ese momento el sol brillaba. Tuvo suerte.

It is spring, it's Easter, and it's raining, as usual.
But I've painted this spanish woman, without umbrella, because just in that moment the sun was shining. She was lucky.

Manzana roja/ Red apple

Aúnque no lo parezca he estado pintando  algunas acuarelas, algunas están en la papelera, pero hoy he encontrado un nuevo desafio en DPW y he terminado esta manzana. El objetivo del desafio era pintarla con tan pocas pinceladas como se pudiese.

Although It doesn't seem, I've been painting some watercolors, some of them are into paper bin, but today I've found a new challenge  in DPW and I've just finished this red apple. The objective of this challenge was to paint an apple using as few brushstrokes as you can.

Paisaje del rio/River landscape

He vuelto de un corto viaje a Cordoba, donde tomé varias fotos. Esta acuarela pertenece a una de ellas. Es uno de los lugares del rio Guadalquivir.
Cuando la he terminado me he dado cuenta que la composición no es buena. Así que trataré de pintarlo otra vez en otro dia, pero también es posible que sea peor. Veremos.

I came back from a short trip to Cordoba, where I took several photos. This watercolor belongs to one of them. It represents one place of the  Guadalquivir river.
When, I've just finished I realize that the composition is not good. So I'll try painting again in other day, but It's also possible that still can be worst. Wait and see.

Naranjas/oranges

He tratado de pintar bordes diferentes, unos duros y otros suaves

I tried to paint  different edges, some are hard and others are soft.

Mi nieta Amalia/ Amalia my granddaughter

Por supuesto, he pintado mi nieta a partir de una foto, no del natural. La pintura de retratos precisa un dibujante bastante y yo todavía no lo soy. Quizás mañana(bolero)

Of course, I've painted my granddaughter from a picture not from natural. Paintings of portraits require a good enough draftsman and still I'm not .  Quizás mañana(bolero) /Perhaps, tomorrow (bolero)
