Bosque y rio/ Woodland and river

He tartado de pintar un bosque atravesado por un rio, pero en vez de comenzar por el fondo empecé por el primer plano
Este es el resultado de mi experimento. Ahora voy atratar de de hacerlo como es normal, primero el fondo con colores agrisados, después el plano medio y por último el primer plano, asi podré compararlos.

I've tried to paint a woodland crossed by a river, but instead of starting to paint the background, I painted the foreground first.
This the result of my experiment. Now I'm going to do it as usual, first the background with greyed colors, then the middle ground and finally the foreground, so that I'll be able to compare them.

Marina/Seascape

Este es un ejercicio sobre pintar rocas. Dejo los colores en húmedo sobre el papel permitiendo que se mezclen en él. Cuando esta completamente seco pongo las sombras de las intersecciones de las rocas utilizando bordes borrosos.
Mis colores fueros los usuales, siena natural, azul cobalto, quinacridona rojo, naranja y siena tostada.

This is an exercise of painting rocks. I drop colors in wet on the paper and let them mix on it. When is all dry I put the shadows which are in the joints of rocks using soft edges.
My colors were as usual, raw sienna, cobalt blue, quinacridone red, orange and burnt sienna.

Barcos de pesca/Fishing boats

Este es otro paisaje marino con dos barcos de pesca. Estan cogiendo vieiras en Galicia.
Es un bocetto para una acuarela más grande y con otro diseño. He tratado de de pintar las olas del mar y el reflejo del cielo en él.

Other seascape with two fishing boats. They are capturing scallops in Galicia.
This is a sketch for one biggest watercolor and with other design. I have trying to paint the sea waves and the sky reflections on it.

Marina/Seascape

Sigo pintando agua. En esta ocasión la playa y los pescadores empujando un bote al atardecer. Como puede verse lo más interesante de la pintura son las tres gaviotas. Un famoso pintor siempre las pinta en sus marinas. Yo he copiado su diseño, pero solo con tres. Tres es un número mágico en pintura.

Bueno, esto es una pequeña broma, pero no completamente.

Hay otros principios de diseño. Algunos pintores opinan que la unidad es el más importante. Si se observa mi pintura se verá que color azul es dominante, la dominancia es otro principio de diseño.

I keep on painting about water, in this occasion is on the beach and fishers pushing a boat at sunset.
The three seagulls, as you can see, is the most interesting part. One famous painter always paints several seagulls in his seascapes. I've adopted that design, but only with three seagulls. Three is a magic number in painting.
Well, this is a little joke, but not entirely.
There are others principles of design. Some painters think that unity is the most important. If you observe my seascape you'll see that the blue color is dominant, other design principle.

Paisaje/Landscape

Este paisaje muestra tres escenarios:el fondo, el plano medio y el primer plano. El fondo lo representa el cielo y las colinas lejanas, lo pinte en húmedo sobre húmedo y cuando todo estaba seco pinté el plano medio formado por el puente los árboles y la vegetación y por último el agua y sus reflejos que son el primer plano

This landscape shows three stages: background, middleground and foreground. I've painted wet-in-wet the sky and the far hills which represent the background, when all was dry I put the bridge, trees and vegetation that it's the middleground and finally the water and his reflections as foreground.
My colors were blue ultramarine, raw sienna, quinacridone red and a little of burn sienna
